Following our most successful season to date in 2017-18 where we saw over 170 competitors take part in the MYCS over the course of six rounds, we are very much looking forward to the new season.
Some of you have already enquired about dates for this years Midlands Youth Climbing Series - we don't yet have the dates finalised but we are looking at the options - trying of course not to clash with other competitions.
We have heard that the BMC are not planning on releasing dates for the 2019 Youth Climbing Series until the end of September, however, we have contacted them to see if they can give us an early indication of when the rounds may be.
We are also looking at the new format that will be adopted for this years YCS and trying to work out whether the MYCS format will be changing to reflect this as well as contacting sponsors.
